Educating Archie became one of Britain’s best-known radio comedy programmes during the 1950s, starring ventriloquist Peter Brough and his cheeky dummy Archie Andrews.
The programme attracted a huge following and featured performers who went on to become some of the most familiar names in British comedy and entertainment.
