Educating Archie was one of Britain’s best-known post-war radio comedy programmes, featuring ventriloquist Peter Brough and his cheeky wooden companion, Archie Andrews.
Despite the unusual concept of a ventriloquist performing on radio, the programme became a major success and helped showcase some of Britain’s best-loved comedy and entertainment personalities.
